HKF Chair Dr Julie Mills OBE honoured with lifetime achievement by Milton Keynes Business Leaders Partnership

On 23 March, the Milton Keynes Business Achievement Awards were held at Stadium MK to honour the accomplishments of the city’s business community. This event marked the first ceremony since Milton Keynes was granted official city status.

The awards ceremony was centered around the theme of ‘Celebrating Diversity’, and a number of the evening’s award recipients demonstrated their dedication to this cause, showcasing how their businesses prioritize inclusivity and outreach to the wider community.

Dr. Julies Mills OBE was presented with the celebrated Lifetime Achievement Award. After serving as Principal at Milton Keynes College for over 11 years, she recently retired. During her tenure, Julie spearheaded several major initiatives at the college, significantly improving the lives of its employees, students, and the broader Milton Keynes community.

Dame Ann Limb, CBE DL, Vice president of Helena Kennedy Foundation said: “We are hugely proud of all Julie does and particularly pleased that in an Awards Ceremony focussed on Diversity, Julie has been recognised for, amongst all the other amazing work she does, her contribution to moving forward the inclusivity and diversity agenda which lies at the heart of HKF’s mission”.
