The Helena Kennedy Foundation provides support to students whose personal and financial circumstances make progression to higher education difficult.
We provide vital financial support to their award winners but know that worries about money are only part of the story.
The HKF award is a package of financial, personal and practical support and opportunities designed to support transition into higher education, enhance the student’s experience at university and improve chances of employment, after graduation. One bursary costs just £3000 and £2250 goes to the student in three instalments of £750 per year. For the duration of their degree £750 goes to the Foundation to cover the support and administration costs of the award, including support after graduation.
