Leaving a Gift in your will

It’s a common myth that only the rich and famous leave money to charity when they die.

This couldn’t be further from the truth. The reality is that without the gifts left in wills by people like you, many of the charities we know and support today wouldn’t even exist. Legacies are the foundation for many of the charities in the UK and recently the Helena Kennedy Foundation has started to be remembered by people in this way. Several of our bursaries are funded by people who have left legacies to us, making a lasting and meaningful memorial to them, and enabling us to continue and expand our work.

So, you don’t have to be rich and famous as any contribution can make a huge difference. Even if you can’t afford to fund a bursary, a small donation could go towards our discretionary hardship fund, or helping us to improve and expand our workshadowing and mentoring schemes which are very valuable to our students. Your contribution could make the difference between a student being able to stay on at university or having to drop out.

Please contact us to discuss how you can help the Helena Kennedy Foundation in this way.
