Paul Eeles

Trustee

Paul has 35 years’ experience in the post-16 skills sector, including seven years as a lecturer and 13 years leading work-based learning within colleges and independent providers. During that time, he has set up and led an independent apprenticeship training provider business. For the past nearly two decades, he has been on the senior teams of all the key membership bodies across the further education and skills sector, representing apprenticeship providers and colleges, to government and their agencies. More recently, along with being the Chief Executive of Skills and Education Group, he has been on the board of and chaired the body representing awarding organisations across the UK, the Federation of Awarding Bodies.

Leading by example, Paul understands the need for action, working closely with stakeholders and partners to champion the transformational difference education and skills can make to people lives. Paul is an experienced public speaker and advocate for the Further Education and Skills Sector.

Paul holds a degree in Hotel and Catering Management, a Post Graduate Diploma Training Management and a Masters in Personnel and Development. He is currently studying at Harvard for the Certificate of Management Excellence within the Business School.

Paul is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, a Fellow of the British Institute of Innkeeping and a Member of the Institute of Directors
