Micah Grimshaw

Micah qualified as a teacher in 2013, after receiving a Helena Kennedy Foundation scholarship award at Edge Hill University in 2009. Micah went

on to teach in special schools for 5 years, working predominantly with autistic young people. In 2018, Micah joined the strategic leadership team

at Abbot's Lea School in Liverpool as Head of Autism Research and Development. In her current role, Micah is responsible for creating, implementing and promoting the school's Autism Research and Development strategy. Micah also delivers internal and external Autism training, and organises school-to-school support for Autism provision. Micah also works as an Autism Accreditation moderator with National Autistic Society, and

has remained with her previous school as an Associate Governor.
