Badged Bursaries

1. ASET

One award for a student progressing onto an undergraduate course, with an embedded placement provision, at an

ASET member institution

2. SEG part of the Skills and Education Group

Two awards for a student from an SEG member college, progressing to higher education

3. John Lyon’s Charity

Twelve awards available to students living in the following London boroughs: Brent, Barnet, Camden, Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, Harrow, Kensington and Chelsea and the Cities of London and Westminster. Candidates must have lived in the boroughs for at least 2 years.

4. NCFE

Ten awards reserved for students progressing on to Higher Education


5. The Sandhu Charitable Foundation

Five awards for students progressing to Higher Education at the University of West London

6. City and Guilds Foundation

Five Awards for students progressing to Higher Education for the following subjects One land-based course; One STEM course; One digital media course and

Two health-care courses

7. James and Hone Trust

Four awards for students progressing to Higher Education and with refugee or/and asylum seeker

8. The PA Foundation

These bursaries are in memory of Jason Robson. ‘50’ Awards for students progressing to Higher Education in STEM related subjects and keen to

make a positive difference in the world.

One award reserved for a student progressing from Newham College London on to Higher Education

Four awards for students progressing to an undergraduate course at De Montfort University

11.  Edge Hill University

Four awards for students progressing to an undergraduate course at Edge Hill University.

Two awards for students attending Kings College London

13.  UCL

Two awards available for students progressing onto an undergraduate course at UCL

14.  University of Central Lancashire-TBC

Two awards available to students progressing to an undergraduate course at the University of Central Lancashire.

15.  University of East London

Four awards available to students progressing to an undergraduate course at the University of East London.

16.  University of Edinburgh

Three awards for students progressing to an undergraduate course at the University of Edinburgh.

17.  University of Kent

One award for a student progressing to an undergraduate course at the University of Kent.

18.  The University of Portsmouth

Four awards for students progressing to an undergraduate course at the University of Portsmouth from the following colleges, Chichester College, South Downs, Highbury, Sparsholt, Fareham, Portsmouth, Eastleigh, Isle of Wight, St Vincent’s and Wiltshire College
