Over 1000 people attended and the audience in the packed auditorium included many of the Foundation’s students, past and present, and sponsors and supporters from around the country. Jon Snow and Baroness Kennedy, President of the Foundation, hosted the evening of song, comedy, wit and wisdom, with contributions from a glittering array of celebrity friends, including Ruby Wax, Sandi Toksvig, Sharon D. Clarke, Bill Paterson, Baroness Shirley Williams, Bianca Jagger, Joan Armatrading and Jude Kelly. The evening concluded with a great performance by a full choir of post-graduate musical theatre students from the Royal Academy of Music and a final burst of pyrotechnics from the stage!
